About the Job

Service of process means that we ensure the receipt of service documents from some of the Enforcement Authority's operational processes. This is crucial for the recipient's ability to assert their rights.

Your tasks involve visiting clients independently. Often, you will drive to the client's home or workplace. Your client visits involve delivering and serving a document. The documents can include applications, enforcement decisions, or debt restructuring decisions, among others. The role includes administrative tasks at the office, such as phone contacts to prepare for client visits and follow-up work to finalize your cases.

You will be part of a section that collectively takes responsibility for results, planning, and workload distribution. This occurs in dialogue with the section manager who supports you and the team in achieving the section's goals. To provide the best conditions for client meetings, there are regular working hours in the evenings and on weekends.

Everyone working at the Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a process server, you may, for example, alert other authorities that a person is receiving benefits on incorrect grounds. This can result in you helping to stop incorrect payments from the welfare system.

The position is based in the office in Malmö.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Driver's license for manual transmission vehicles and good driving experience
• Good IT skills and experience working with various IT systems
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Current experience in answering questions and conveying information succinctly and pedagogically in direct client interactions.

It is desirable that you have relevant work experience in handling physical meetings with people in difficult life situations. Since a large part of the work is conducted in the field and involves a lot of driving and physical movement, it is also desirable that you have relevant work experience in physically demanding jobs.

Good to Know

The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a process server. Working hours are distributed during the day, evenings, and weekends. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.

Working in the government means that you adhere to the government value framework. There are also specific requirements for judgment, security awareness, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions will also be posed to references. We also gather information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business bans. The information obtained will be considered in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
