ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Prompter Assistant at SVT, you play a crucial role in ensuring that the text on the prompter rolls at the exact pace during the broadcast of Aktuellt. You will work Monday to Friday evenings, with clear responsibilities during live broadcasts.
Working hours: approx. 19:30–22:30. During your shift, you may also assist the production by picking up and dropping off guests before and after the broadcast.
The assignment runs from January 12 to February 28 and requires full focus and precision during each broadcast. You will receive introduction and guidance on-site in the studio in central Stockholm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adjust and monitor the prompter during the broadcast.
• Turn the jog wheel in sync with the host's reading.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure a smooth broadcast.
• Assist with receiving, picking up, and dropping off guests as needed.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Is studying at a post-secondary level/has another main occupation.
• Has an interest in TV production and technology.
• Is meticulous and can focus during short, intense periods.
• Has excellent knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Can be available Monday–Friday evenings throughout the period from January 12 to February 28.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Start: January 12 - February 28. Introduction for a couple of hours on January 8.
• Scope: Part-time, evening hours (19:30–22:30), Monday–Friday.

• Salary: 146 SEK/hour + OB supplement and vacation pay.
