The Position

As an R&D Engineer with us, you will be an essential part of our product development team within Product R&D. Here, we work cross-functionally with material development, technical product ownership, and product testing to create innovative and sustainable sealing solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and constructing products with a focus on the end user.
• Exploring and driving your own development activities, including the development of new concepts using techniques, methods, and materials previously unknown to Roxtec.
• Creating prototypes using 3D CAD and 3D printing.
• Actively participating in product development projects alongside team members to drive projects forward.
• Collaborating closely with product testing engineers to ensure we develop the best products with a value-adding approach.
• Utilizing our state-of-the-art material laboratory, 3D printing, testing lab, and prototype workshop.
• Creating manufacturing and product drawings as well as other relevant technical documentation according to Roxtec's processes.
• Staying updated on the latest advancements in material development, manufacturing methods, environmental aspects, and design-to-cost.

We use Autodesk Inventor and Siemens Teamcenter, PLM system.

Qualifications

We highly value your personal qualities such as curiosity, collaboration skills, and the ability to structure your work to achieve project goals. You should also have a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving. The role encompasses several engineering areas and can be tailored to your interests and background.

We believe you have a university or college degree in mechanical engineering and some years of work experience. We also see opportunities for recent graduates or students graduating in 2026.

You need to be proficient in English, both spoken and written. The position is based at the headquarters in Karlskrona and includes travel.
