We are now looking for an experienced project manager in production development for a long-term consulting assignment with a client in the manufacturing industry. The assignment is strategically important and involves modernization, process optimization, and investments in production environments.

In this role, you will drive projects close to production – from feasibility studies and analysis to implementation and follow-up – with a focus on efficient, safe, and competitive manufacturing processes.

• Drive and lead projects within production development

• Conduct feasibility studies and lead projects related to:

  • Machine investments and production equipment

  • Restructuring and modernization of production facilities

  • Process optimization

  • Heavy lifting and condition analyses

• Work according to the client's project model, including:

  • Capacity and economic analyses prior to investments

  • Development of technical specifications

  • Development and optimization of layouts during installation and relocation of equipment

• Ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals regarding:

  • Time, cost, quality, and performance

  • Laws, regulations, and safety requirements

• Prepare decision-making materials for steering groups or stakeholders

• Propose and drive action programs for improvement of production processes

• At least 5 years of experience in project management within the manufacturing industry

• Documented experience in process optimization and investment projects

• Experience with restructuring in production environments

• Knowledge of lifting requirements and crane management

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
