We at Group Housing Brushanegatan 3 are now looking for a positive, engaged, and flexible support assistant who wants to contribute their knowledge, joy, and experience to our users' everyday lives.

As a support assistant with us, you will work according to implementation plans with interventions such as personal care, activation, social interaction, training, outdoor activities, various service tasks, as well as support in habilitation and health care tasks. You will document in our operational system and also perform delegated health care tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. The work also involves providing pedagogical support and care to promote the individual's abilities and independence, based on the user's individual needs and wishes.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, flexible, and has an easy time collaborating – both with colleagues and other professional groups in the team around the user. You have a genuine interest in helping people and recognize each individual's unique needs. You are confident in pressured situations, responsible, and have a strong commitment to your work.

Working hours vary and include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Job Responsibilities

To provide support and service according to the user's individual needs and wishes according to implementation plans. You will perform everyday, planned support interventions and activities together with the user. The support interventions should promote the user's integrity, participation, and be carried out with respect for the user's self-determination. The user's needs should be at the center, and the person's opinions should be actively considered. The user should receive support and the right to decide over their life and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close collaboration with the user's network and other staff.

The job responsibilities also include habilitation, IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health care tasks.

Qualifications

Care and nursing program with a focus on disability, child and leisure program with a focus on social or pedagogical work, or other equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent, as well as good computer skills.
