Ljungbyhed School is located about 12 km from the center of Klippan in a picturesque area with the forest and Rönneå as our closest neighbors. We are an outdoor school, meaning we conduct part of our activities outdoors both during school hours and in the after-school program. We are a K-9 school with about 390 students in total and an after-school program with around 100 students. For us, joy and enthusiasm are important ingredients in learning, whether you are a student or an adult. We see a great advantage in working together, developing, and being there for each other.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks

We are looking for two teachers, one for a Math/one of the Science subjects and one teacher for three Science subjects. The position involves teaching Math/Science/Technology in grades 7-9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in accordance with Lgr22 and other governing documents. You are also responsible for collaborating with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developing environment for the students.

Your tasks include planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in your subject both individually and in collaboration with work teams and other colleagues. An important part of the work is to systematically follow the students' knowledge development. You work according to current routines for individual development plans and written assessments. You strive to create a classroom situation where all students can succeed based on their conditions. In consultation with the student health team, you also work to ensure that relevant measures are implemented for students in need of additional support.

You are responsible for creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Mentorship in a class at the secondary level is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

A teaching license is a requirement for a permanent position.

Your leadership is characterized by clarity and structure. For the work to be successful, you need to have good collaboration skills and be relationship-building, as good relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues are fundamental to the work.

You need to have the ability to adapt your teaching based on results, evaluations, and the individual student's needs. To achieve this, you need to have a good understanding of how different students absorb knowledge and the ability to adapt your teaching style at both group and individual levels.
