Your role

Do you want to be part of developing technical solutions that shape the future of the marine and defense industry? Saab Kockums is looking for a driven and solution-oriented .NET developer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in the development and management of our IT systems that support our complex shipbuilding and defense projects.

As a .NET developer with us, you will work with:

• Developing and customizing system solutions focusing on .NET technologies to support our shipbuilding and defense projects
• Integrating ERP, PLM, and CAD solutions to connect systems that manage different parts of the design and production process
• Identifying and addressing technical issues within the system, focusing on performance, security, and functionality
• Contributing to optimizing and automating internal processes critical for project deliveries, identifying bottlenecks, and improving efficiency throughout the production chain. Creating increased flexibility by adapting production to changing demands and market conditions

Work location: Lund.

Travel may occur both domestically and internationally.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who feels at home in .Net development and Microsoft development environments. You have good knowledge of C# and Visual Studio, and you easily absorb new knowledge and learn new technologies.

Requirements

• Database design, SQL programming, and Entity Framework
• Web development: HTML, CSS, Blazor, or other frameworks
• C/C++ programming
• 3D CAD software

Meritorious

• Experience with system integrations in a design and production environment aimed at seamlessly merging different IT systems and software to create cohesive and efficient workflows
• Experience with LUA scripting or other scripting programming languages
• Experience from the shipbuilding or defense industry
• Knowledge of security and data security in system development

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
