The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school care, high school, adult education, as well as child and student health. About 1100 employees work here to create a safe and developing school and childcare.

The municipal high school, Ystad Gymnasium, has around 1800 students and 300 staff and consists of five principal areas. Together, we offer most national high school programs, introductory programs, and a large number of the Adapted high school programs. We are looking for an engaged IT Coordinator who primarily works with support for staff and students and, together with the existing IT Coordinator, is responsible for the school's hardware, software, and technical equipment in classrooms and other premises. The position involves close collaboration with staff, students, school management, and administration. To succeed in your role as IT Coordinator, it is important that you are passionate about helping others and solving problems quickly and effectively, as well as being curious and driven to learn new things. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Coordinator at Ystad Gymnasium, you will:

• Provide support to staff and students regarding the school's hardware, software, and other technical equipment related to classrooms and other premises. (Physically, via phone, and through various messaging functions)
• Ensure that IT solutions such as computers, tablets, projectors, etc. work and are available during lessons, meetings, and other activities.
• Be responsible for the management and allocation of digital teaching materials and tools.
• Together with the existing IT Coordinator, staff the school's IT support and assist staff and students with various issues.
• Document cases and routines and contribute to improved work processes regarding IT support in the school.
• If necessary, provide support to teachers and students in classrooms and during teaching situations.
• Handle invoices related to purchases and student matters.
• Be responsible for certain handling of purchases and orders of equipment related to IT and premises.
• Contact and inform guardians when necessary regarding issues related to students' IT usage and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good digital competence and experience working with hardware, software, and IT environments (preferably within high school or public sector).
• Has good communication skills and experience in meeting students and staff in a pedagogical and service-oriented manner.
• Can switch between independent work and collaboration with the school's various staff categories.
• Can independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Has the ability to plan and structure your work.
• Is flexible and prioritizes availability since the work may require quick action in urgent matters.
• Masters the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Has relevant education in IT or equivalent experience.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in a high school.
