🌟 We are looking for nursing assistants for our new respite care unit with safety places! 🌟
Do you want to be involved from the start and contribute to the development of our new respite care unit? We are now looking for nursing assistants who want to work with both respite care and safety places – temporary accommodation for people who need support and care for a limited time.

What is respite care and safety place?

Respite care is an intervention within elderly care that means a person alternates between living at home and staying at the respite care unit for shorter, planned periods.

A safety place is for when unforeseen events occur and a person quickly needs care and security that cannot be arranged at home.

Job Responsibilities

💼 About the position:
As a nursing assistant, you will:

• Work at our new respite care unit with both respite care and safety places, where you provide care, service, activation, and perform delegated health and medical care tasks.
• Be flexible and, if necessary, work in our day activities for people with dementia, where the focus is on social interaction, activities, and support in daily life.
• Support in daily life – personal care, meals, and social activities.
• Collaborate with relatives and perform daily chores such as cleaning and laundry.
• Perform delegated health and medical care tasks.
• Have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge through special representative roles – to further enhance quality.
• Handle alarms.
• Document according to applicable routines.

The operation is at Ytterbyhemmet starting in 2026. We will work with person-centered care and actively create a safe and stimulating environment for our guests.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained nursing assistant and have a protected professional title or service certificate.
• Have experience working as a nursing assistant.
• Have a genuine interest in people.
• Have good computer skills.
• Have good documentation skills.
• Are flexible, responsible, and easy to collaborate with.
• Have good Swedish skills in speech and writing.
• Have physical ability as the job may involve heavy lifting.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience with dementia.
• Have experience in psychiatry.
• Have a B driver's license.
