who wants to contribute to structure, quality, and legal security in the committee's work.

In the unit for knowledge support and development, we are about 15 employees in roles as investigators, coordinators, and strategists. We work to support the committee and the administration with decision-making materials in the form of investigations and evaluations for the administration's central assignments within the labor market and adult education areas. We work strategically with several of the city's common missions, such as human rights, quality, safety, and security.

Hello, my name is Linda Truvered, and I am the head of the unit. For me, participation, openness, and joint learning are important to achieve good quality and a good working environment. You will be part of a workgroup with many engaged colleagues.
Your role
As a committee secretary at the labor market administration, you are the hub of the committee process and support our political representatives, administrative management, and case handlers in related matters. You are also responsible for preparing meetings with the labor market committee's council for disability issues and participating in and writing minutes for the council's meetings.
Your tasks mainly involve
- coordinating the committee's matters and administration; planning meetings, sending invitations and documents, and writing minutes
- introducing and supporting elected representatives in practical matters regarding the committee assignment
- writing service statements, preparing materials such as investigations for the committee, and responding to referrals, in collaboration with the investigators in the unit
- supporting and training employees and managers in case management, writing decision-making materials for the committee, and writing and reviewing service statements in the case and document management system Platina (called eDok in the city)
- coordinating the development of committee processes and updating the administration's delegation order.
Your work is governed by the committee process, which means that you often work towards some form of deadline. About 1-2 times a month, you will work in the evenings in connection with committee meetings and disability council meetings.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has
- an academic degree relevant to the position, such as public administration and political science
- good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing municipal decision-making, such as the Local Government Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, the regulations on public access and confidentiality, and GDPR
- worked as a committee secretary or equivalent in public administration
- experience in preparing materials for decisions in public operations
- proficiency in the Office suite and digital case management systems
- good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
It is an advantage if you have worked
- with the document and case management system Platina (called eDok in the city).
