The Planning Office has three planners and is part of the Community Building Administration. The workplace has a very friendly atmosphere where employees always support each other. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the Planning Office, we work on several exciting planning and development projects! Currently, we are working on a change to our comprehensive plan for a residential area in one of our urban areas. We are also developing rolling comprehensive planning through the creation of a planning strategy. The planning strategy will then guide future comprehensive planning regarding what new planning materials we in the municipality need. We are also actively working on inter-municipal and regional development issues through the Familjen Helsingborg cooperation. In the future, work on new guidelines for housing supply will also be relevant, as well as participation in other strategic plans that the administration plans to develop.

The Planning Office is also working on two large expansion areas for housing, each with several hundred homes. One is located near the station, at one of the municipality's two train stations. The other housing project is located in Hyllinge, with close proximity to Helsingborg. We are also working on a new municipal building with access to the city center, as well as a large industrial area that has connections to both the motorway and the railway.

The Planning Office primarily needs reinforcement from a planner with an interest in comprehensive planning/strategic planning. The tasks are shared collectively in the office, so there is great opportunity for variation and to cultivate one's areas of interest. You are welcome to have an interest and/or experience in comprehensive planning and working towards a more digital community planning. Our plans and development projects are driven in close collaboration with environmental strategists, landscape architects, and land and development engineers. Here we have the entire community building process under one roof, and we work very closely with the municipality's politicians.

An important and significant part of the work is written and oral communication, such as information meetings for the public, working meetings with external actors, internal actors, and other officials within the municipality, as well as writing and presenting matters for the politicians. Since we are a small team, collaboration and dialogue are of great importance for the workflow. The tasks are varied, which makes a flexible and unpretentious attitude valuable.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in architecture, physical planning, community planning, or equivalent.

You need to have good knowledge of applicable laws, primarily the Planning and Building Act (PBL). You should have the ability to drive, handle, and lead the work in accordance with set goals. Experience in project management and comprehensive planning is an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, proactive, and have good organizational and collaborative skills. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities!

We expect you to have a knack for communicating clearly in speech, text, and image. At our workplace, we work in Geosecma physical planning and Adobe CS, primarily Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. In addition, we also use Story Maps and SketchUp. Experience with the above programs is advantageous.
