Your Role

Our area of Hull and Weapon Integration consists of four sections and approximately 90 employees who work with design and system design for submarines throughout their lifecycle. Our area is responsible for developing mechanical systems with a focus on integration solutions, lifting equipment, propulsion, and welding and composite constructions. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys tasks such as functional analyses, handling system data, participating in tests, providing support to design to ensure compliance with requirements, and producing technical documentation such as diagrams, system descriptions, and operating instructions. With partners and subcontractors around the world, we work with complex products with high demands, and we see that you are solution-oriented and can see the big picture to make well-balanced compromises.

Your Profile

We believe that our next colleague has the following qualifications:

• Master's degree or BSc in mechanical engineering, marine design, or equivalent experience.
• Strong initiative and a desire to take ownership of results.
• Effective communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if our next colleague has:

• Technical project management/coordinating experience in process or product development.
• Marine industry, process, or manufacturing industry experience.
• Large-scale, complex development projects.
• Military background, preferably within the navy.
