About the position

As an electrical engineer with us in the Business Area Water and Sewage, you will work both operationally and strategically with our electrical installations, ensuring that everything is done safely, sustainably, and correctly.

You will be our Electrical Installer for Compliance (EIR), which means you ensure that our electrical installations meet the requirements from the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority. You will be responsible for ensuring that our installations comply with laws, regulations, and safety standards - both for low voltage and high voltage. This includes planning, control, documentation, and technical support for electrical work.

The role involves a lot of collaboration, both within the business area and company-wide, as well as with external stakeholders. We believe you enjoy combining technical responsibility with practical efforts and that you are motivated to contribute to a safe and reliable infrastructure that truly makes a difference in people's everyday lives.

Your main tasks:

• Be responsible for electrical safety and compliance according to ELSÄK-FS
• Initiate and propose improvements in planned/preventive maintenance and projects regarding electrical installations
• Be responsible for electrical technical requirements in connection with projects
• Establish and review electrical diagrams, risk assessments, and control programs
• Participate or lead troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and actions for electrical technical problems
• Contribute to the development of our working methods and systems

We are looking for someone who has:

• Electrical engineering education or equivalent at the upper secondary or university level
• Authorization (at least AL and preferably also authorization A according to the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority)
• Practical experience of working in process or industrial environments (preferably water, energy, or similar)
• Very good knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards
• Good computer skills and experience with documentation tools
• Swedish language skills in speaking and writing, as well as a B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Installer for Compliance
• Knowledge of automation/SCADA systems
• Experience working in public or municipal operations
