JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Kiruna City Library is in an exciting phase due to new premises in the Aurora Cultural Center, centrally located in the new city center.

The position consists of library administration that supports various parts of the library, such as borrower services, interlibrary loans, magazines, audiobooks, and more. The position is located at the city library. Evening and weekend shifts are included according to the schedule.

A large part of the work, both in the library room and administratively, is done digitally. You should have good digital skills and the ability to inspire and assist both colleagues and visitors.

The important citizen service is a fundamental part of the library's way of working with the statutory assignment regarding education, information technology, and democracy. You who work with us will be an important part of ensuring citizen service and developing content in line with society's needs.

We are now looking for an administrative substitute for the period 2/2 2026-9/6 2027, the position encompasses 75%.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education and preferably experience in administrative work. Previous work in a library is an advantage.

As a person, you are creative, structured, and have good collaboration skills. To thrive in this role, you should be able to organize and structure your day and work independently. You enjoy new experiences and challenges.

The position requires good skills in writing and computer programs. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
