Administrator in Health and Medical Care
The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, across the country. With us at SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. No matter where in our organization you work, or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.
At the headquarters in Solna Business Park, we are about 350 employees, and together we work to support and develop the authority with about 4000 employees.
Job Description
We are now looking for an administrator focused on supporting the development of documentation systems and contributing to uniform, accurate, and quality-assured care documentation. The role is central to ensuring that care interventions are documented in a way that enables follow-up, patient safety, and knowledge management.
In the role of administrator within health and medical care, you will have a central and significant task in developing and quality-assuring the authority's documentation systems. You will contribute to creating structure, clarity, and uniformity in care and treatment documentation and become an important part of the work of developing routines, templates, and support materials for record-keeping and information management.
As an administrator, you will support the operations in matters related to documentation practices, terminology usage, and information structure. You will also work with the registration and follow-up of KVÅ codes and other care-related documentation while analyzing and monitoring documentation quality as part of the systematic quality work.
You will have the opportunity to participate in training and information initiatives that strengthen documentation competence in the organization and contribute to improving the quality of care. Additionally, you will become an important actor in the work with routines for record-keeping, information management, and archiving within the health and medical care sector.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- has administrative education, preferably as a medical secretary, or other post-secondary education deemed equivalent.
- has good knowledge of documentation within health and medical care and how documentation systems are used for follow-up and quality work.
- has experience working in care administrative systems or journal systems (e.g., TakeCare, Lifecare, Cosmic, or similar).
- has knowledge of KVÅ codes and their use for following care and treatment interventions.
- has a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience in the development or management of documentation or journal systems.
- experience working in public health and medical care, preferably in a role focused on information or quality support.
- knowledge of laws and regulations related to record-keeping, confidentiality, patient safety, and information management.
- experience working with document control, record-keeping, or archiving within care or authorities.
- experience in training or mentoring initiatives within documentation and quality.
We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, and has a genuine interest in order, quality, and development. You are used to handling large amounts of information with high precision and find it easy to create systematic approaches even under time pressure.
You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively in development projects, and you have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset. Your good communication skills enable you to collaborate well with colleagues in various professional roles and contribute to a positive work environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence and improve the quality and efficiency of the authority's health and medical care documentation – work that makes a real difference for both the organization and society.
