Department of Environmental Science

The Department of Environmental Science is a large department within the Faculty of Science, with over 170 researchers, teachers, PhD students, and technical/administrative staff from over 30 countries.

Job Responsibilities

As a coordinator, you will have a coordinating responsibility for the department's work as host for the international master's program TRACEE. Internally, this role involves close collaboration with the head of department and program director, as well as other study administration and teachers at the department, but also contact and collaboration with central administration at Stockholm University. Operational work within TRACEE includes:

  • Communication and coordination with the ten other European universities that, together with SU, jointly offer TRACEE.
  • Assisting in the preparation for the program's decision-making bodies.
  • Handling some study administration.

The position may include a minor portion of study guidance for regular bachelor's and master's programs at the department.

Qualifications

  • University degree.
  • Experience in internationalization within educational issues in the higher education sector.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to perform basic calculations in Excel/similar software.
  • Very good ability to communicate well in English and Swedish.

Experience in project management is advantageous, as well as experience in study guidance. As a person, you need to be structured, flexible, cooperative, and solution-oriented. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

About the Position

The position is permanent at 80% with a six-month probationary period. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date according to agreement.
