We are now looking for an experienced embedded developer for our client in the defense industry. The role primarily involves programming FPGAs (including embedded processors), focusing on both firmware (VHDL) and software (C/C++).

Job Responsibilities

The work includes developing control logic with a particular focus on firmware in VHDL. This includes implementing calibration functions in both firmware and software, as well as developing high-speed links. The role also involves integration and testing in a lab environment, as well as troubleshooting and further development of both new and existing features.

Requirements and Desired Skills

• Relevant university degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded programming
• Good understanding of how FPGAs work
• Solid knowledge of VHDL
• Swedish citizenship is a requirement
• Experience with C/C++ is a plus
• Knowledge of Matlab and Python is an advantage
• Interest in working in agile teams

Other

The work involves handling defense confidentiality, particularly in a lab environment. Security clearance (RK) will therefore be required.
