JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

SOLTAK AB is looking for a skilled IT Project Manager.

About the Role

The IT department consists of about 55 dedicated employees, and we are now looking for an experienced project manager with an IT background and municipal experience to join the Project and Innovation group.

Together, we are responsible for the four municipalities' joint IT infrastructure and deliver IT services to the entire organization. We work both to provide daily support, maintain and further develop our services while being a strategic partner in the municipalities' business development, where digitalization is an important tool.

The role is both tactical and operational. As a project manager with us, you will lead medium-sized projects and assignments that range from technical initiatives to business-related digitalization, where understanding, coordination, and clarity are of great importance. The assignments may be initiated by our municipalities or be internal projects.

In addition to project management, the role requires you to be communicative, collaborative, and responsive to the opportunities, challenges, and needs of the operations.

Having good problem-solving skills and the ability to take a step back and see the bigger picture from a long-term perspective is something that summarizes the role.

You will work closely with operational representatives, both internally and with our municipalities, as well as with our payroll and finance department and external suppliers.

You will report to the group manager for Project and Innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in project management within IT.
  • You have relevant post-secondary education.
  • You have good planning skills and experience in following up on project work with multiple contact points.
  • You have a good technical understanding of modern IT environments and can engage in dialogue with operations, internal staff, and suppliers.
  • You have a good ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, and can build trust within the organization.
  • You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as all documentation and dialogue occur in Swedish.

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

  • Project management within the municipal sector
  • Change management
  • Project management training and/or certification, e.g., PMI/IPMA, PPS, or similar
  • Frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and ITIL
  • Working with decision-makers and stakeholders within the municipal sector
