Do you want to work at the heart of IT support and make a real difference in users' everyday lives? Our client is now looking for two experienced IT Support Technicians for their service desk in Borås.

As an IT Support Technician, you are the first point of contact for users needing help with IT-related issues. You work service-oriented and solution-focused via phone, chat, and service portal, where you troubleshoot, guide, and ensure that operations can continue without unnecessary interruptions.

You handle everything from login issues and client questions to applications and permissions – always with a calm demeanor and clear communication. In more complex cases, you collaborate with other support and specialist functions until the case is resolved all the way to the finish line.

• Receive and manage support cases via phone, chat, and portal

• Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues such as:

  • Windows environment

  • Microsoft 365

  • Client and mobile IT

  • Networks, permissions, and operational systems

• Guide and support users in a pedagogical and reassuring manner

• Drive cases to completion and work proactively with root cause analysis

You are an experienced support technician who thrives in a role with a lot of contact with people. You are communicative, structured, and have a genuine interest in service and technology. You find it easy to explain technical problems in an understandable way and build trust in every interaction 🤝

• Post-secondary education in IT/technology or several years of relevant work experience

• Experience in technical support, preferably within first or second line

• Familiarity with support via phone

• Very good communication skills

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Experience from larger organizations

• Previous work in public sector or complex IT environments

• Number of positions: 2 with placement in Borås

• Assignment period: February 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026

• Possibility of extension: up to 24 months

• Remote work: No, all work is done onsite
