Mission

As an investigator at the School Office, you will be responsible for two main areas: investigations of violations and other incidents, as well as applications for state grants. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be involved in all aspects of the work at the quality unit, which is responsible for the systematic quality work for schools and preschools in Trosa.

This includes planning and developing templates, data collection through surveys, analysis and facilitation of principals' analytical work, report writing, service letters, and overseeing development and change projects.

As an investigator, you will conduct qualified investigative work, primarily through school visits and document studies. This involves observations in various operations and interviews with students, teachers, and principals. Furthermore, it means writing authority decisions and liaising with other authorities and the public.

The starting point is to be a support to the operations and the principal. The goal is a school characterized by safety and study peace, where all children and students can reach as far as possible based on their own conditions.

Qualifications

The assignment places high demands on:

• Analytical and communicative ability
• Self-leadership: to independently initiate, carry out, and complete development work
• The ability to create good relationships and be a valued partner
• The ability to express yourself accessibly and correctly in spoken and written Swedish
• Structured work and the ability to handle several parallel or unforeseen tasks

Desired experience:

• Academic education in a field that includes qualitative analysis or pedagogy
• Understanding of the school's governing documents, the Education Act, and the curricula for preschool and primary school
• Experience working in politically governed operations and familiarity with providing material for political decisions
• Understanding of how systematic quality work should be conducted in preschool and primary school
• Experience independently conducting investigations and writing decisions or reports
• Experience driving development processes
• Several years of experience working with school issues as a principal, vice principal, or as an official at the administrative level.
