Do you want to work in a global organization focused on daily service in finance? Would you like to participate in improvement work in addition to operational tasks to continuously develop yourself and our work as GBS and SSAB evolve? Then the role of Finance Specialist is for you. Location: Oxelösund.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the planet's future and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our societal development and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges that connect our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. Therefore, we have developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

We are now looking for a colleague to join our GBS Order to Cash team in Sweden. The role includes cash management and document handling – both digital and physical. You will work with daily service to SSAB's internal and external customers and have several international contacts.

We are an organization that continuously develops our working methods and competencies to meet internal and external changes. Therefore, it is important that you are proactive, flexible, and engaged in both your tasks and the team.

You will be part of an international network where collaboration and communication are key to success.

The position is a temporary contract until 2027-03-31.

Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.

  • Bookkeeping of transactions.
  • Review documents and ensure maximum quality.

About you

  • You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • We value personal qualities such as organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment combined with drive and willingness to take responsibility.
  • To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone with an education in finance and work experience in financial administration.
  • You are a team player who communicates and collaborates well with others.
  • Experience with business systems, particularly SAP, is an advantage.

Our offer

At SSAB, diversity and inclusion are part of our culture. We use our values – driven, genuine, and one step ahead – in our daily decision-making, always with the customer in focus. This makes us all team players, with a common goal to improve. When you start at SSAB, you become part of an organization with passionate problem solvers working together on important challenges.
