Do you want to work internationally on large-scale data center projects where quality and safety are in focus? Friday is now looking for a QA/QC on behalf of a client who wants to help build the future infrastructure in the Nordics!
Friday is now looking for a QA/QC for a growing business area within data center infrastructure. You will work on-site where the projects are being built, primarily in Finland or Denmark, and be part of an international team that ensures the quality of large construction projects is at the highest level.
The role involves working on-site during intensive periods of seven days in a row, followed by seven days off at home. You will be an important part of the project's progress and will be close to production, technology, and management.
At the client, you will encounter an entrepreneurial culture with short decision-making paths, significant personal responsibility, and a strong sense of community. Here, you will help build the data centers of the future – from ground and foundation to finished facility.
- Conduct daily quality inspections and follow-ups on the construction site
- Ensure that the project's quality plan is followed and documented correctly
- Participate in QA/QC and construction meetings and report progress
- Coordinate quality work with contractors and suppliers
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and approval of completed parts
- Has at least 2–3 years of experience in construction – e.g., ground, foundation, water, infrastructure, or industry
- Has worked with quality, production, or management – e.g., as QA/QC, KMA, supervisor, or site engineer
- Has a good understanding of technical documentation and quality processes
- Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
- Is mobile and flexible, with the ability to work on-site in the Nordics (primarily Finland or Denmark)
It is not necessary, but advantageous if you have:
- Experience with data center or industrial projects
- Previous work in international project environments
- Experience with commissioning or technical follow-up
To thrive in this role, we believe you are meticulous, structured, and communicative. You prefer being on-site, close to production, and have a genuine understanding of construction – what happens below ground, not just building.
This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both Friday and the client is that you will eventually be employed by the company.
- Extent: Full-time
- Start: By agreement
- Location: Has an office in Malmö but you will work where the projects are (Nordics)
- Salary: Market-based monthly salary
Apply by clicking the link below. Remember to be quick with your application as we are conducting ongoing selections of candidates and the ad may close before the position is filled if we have moved on to the selection and interview phase. We do not accept applications via email.
