AB Kristianstadsbyggen (ABK) is a municipal housing company based in Kristianstad. Our mission is to build and manage rental housing for all resident groups. ABK currently has approximately 9,300 apartments and 230 commercial premises in the parent company.

We are now looking for an experienced and versatile service carpenter.

Your Responsibilities

As a service carpenter with us, you will work broadly with various types of assignments, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues in management and construction. Your tasks include:

Minor carpentry work, renovations, and repair jobs
Renovation of apartments and premises
Addressing reported issues – everything from small repairs to construction work
Service and support to internal departments before renovations

The work involves a great deal of freedom under responsibility, and you will plan a large part of your workday based on incoming assignments.

Your Background/Your Qualities

We are looking for someone who is an experienced all-round carpenter with a sense of service and quality. You thrive in a role where you meet people, solve problems, and ensure that things work as they should.

To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have:

Experience from the construction or real estate industry
Experience with service work in carpentry
Computer skills (administration of orders, emails, time reporting, ordering subcontractors)
Driver's license B and fluent Swedish in speech and writing are required
Vocational certificate is an advantage

As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and engaged, with a genuine interest in delivering good results and satisfied customers.

Information and Contact

Working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM and the position is full-time. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period with the possibility of permanent employment. You will start and end your day at our newly built carpentry/painting facility in the Näsby industrial area.
