Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care.

The health and medical care unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and HSL-USK. We work with patients aged 18 and older who need health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in special and ordinary housing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us in Ystad municipality, you will work with home health care both in ordinary and special housing. As a substitute, you will have a flexible everyday life where the needs of the units dictate your placement. This means you can experience both the pulse of the city and the tranquility of the countryside.

In our larger facilities, you will work alongside other nurses, while in the smaller units, you may sometimes work more independently, always with support from colleagues and managers when you need it.

As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and meaningful job. You will make medical assessments, manage medications, and provide support and guidance to care staff. You will plan health and medical care interventions for individuals who need care and contribute to creating security for both patients and relatives. QUALIFICATIONS

We always work from a holistic view of the patient where your competence, engagement, and ability to see the whole person are crucial.

You are a licensed nurse.

If you also have specialist or advanced training as a district nurse, it is an advantage but not a requirement.

All experience from care and support is valuable, as is other work experience that contributes to your maturity and ability to meet people in different life situations.

You have good computer skills and experience documenting in journal systems. You express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you have a B driver's license, as the position involves travel within the municipality.
