Your role with us

At Home Care Tollarp Centrum, you will be offered a varied job where each day involves wonderful meetings with both customers and colleagues. You will provide care and service to individuals in ordinary housing based on the customer's needs.

An important part of the job is to keep the customer in focus, which is why we work in teams around the customer for a good overall perspective. The work also includes being a primary care contact and holding one or more areas of responsibility. You will be offered a varied job with care interventions, activities, and delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff.

The municipality of Kristianstad has chosen to separate care interventions and service interventions, which means we have a special team that only works with service interventions. This gives you as a care assistant a greater opportunity to focus on care work.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a care assistant with an approved care program. Proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of a protected professional title is an advantage. The job requires that you have experience working as a care assistant, preferably in home care.

Since communication and documentation are part of your duties, you need to have computer and documentation skills as well as a good ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You need a B driver's license for manual transmission to get around to our customers. You should also be able to cycle as there are cycling rounds.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and a professional approach towards customers, relatives, and colleagues. You can independently plan and structure your work, work towards goals, and have the ability to change your focus when goals change. It is important that you respect decisions made and contribute to the development of the organization and a good work environment.

The activities of the Care Administration are aimed at the elderly and individuals who need functional support as well as those who require home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
