About the Role

Hjärtstenen Preschool is a preschool with its own yard and proximity to nature, where we offer a stimulating and safe environment for children's learning and development. We are looking for an experienced and educated childcare worker who wants to help continue developing our operations while contributing to a safe and joyful everyday life for our children.

It is important for us that you, who want to work as a childcare worker with us, feel curiosity about your mission. A day at preschool is filled with meaningful meetings between children and educators, and each meeting is part of the child's safety, development, and learning. Therefore, we want to take advantage of this to make preschool safe, educational, and joyful for everyone.

As a childcare worker with us, we want you to see how different children learn in different ways and have the ability to help children learn in all everyday situations. Through play and imagination, we want you to challenge the children where they are and see each day as a learning adventure. You should have a commitment to your mission and the ability to build relationships with both children and guardians.

Practical Requirements

• Completed a childcare education (high school or adult education)
• Able to work with digital tools
• Comfortable with preschool's governing documents
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself well in speech and writing
• Experience working in preschool as a childcare worker
• Experience working in a team with reflective work

Employment Form

The position is a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. Scope: 100%. Start date: January, or by agreement. The position is located at: Hjärtstenen Preschool, Knivsta (Alsike)
