We are looking for an experienced social worker for an assignment within the child and youth authority in Uppsala municipality. The assignment is carried out within the framework of a dynamic purchasing system and involves work with authority exercise according to the Social Services Act.

Responsibilities

• Investigation and handling of cases concerning children and youth
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Work in a fast-paced environment with demands for structure and quality
• Placement in the Targeted Support team but with assignments linked to the investigation units

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work
• Experience in the child and youth sector within social services
• Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with good structure

About the assignment

• Scope: Full-time, 100 %
• Period: January 12, 2026 – May 15, 2026
• Remote: Possible by agreement and according to the needs of the organization, however, no fixed remote day and the possibility to be on-site within an hour if needed
• Option for extension is available
