JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a treatment assistant at Enberga co-occurring disorders housing, your main tasks will be to provide support to individuals based on their conditions and needs. The support measures can be extensive and involve many everyday situations. You will work on building good treatment relationships and contribute to ensuring that our clients receive the safety and security they need to break ingrained behaviors.

Individual conversations and motivational work focusing on the client's addiction issues and/or mental well-being are included. Some health care tasks are included based on delegation. The interventions must be documented in the LifeCare journal system.

You will work strategically and purposefully with the educational work together with your colleagues and the housing's nurse. We work according to current legislation, which means that we document daily according to SoL and HSL.

The work is performed in shifts with day, evening, and weekend shifts according to the schedule.

Within social psychiatry, you work to provide support to individuals with mental disabilities and addiction issues based on a salutogenic approach. The salutogenic approach means that the work focuses on making everyday life meaningful, understandable, and manageable for the individual.

The Health and Care Administration is currently undergoing a significant transformation journey where collaboration is a substantial part. For this reason, service in other units may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to be an educated treatment assistant, treatment educator, social educator, or have another education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in addiction care and/or psychiatric care is desirable. It is crucial that you, as an applicant, have good competence regarding the target group.

We want you to speak fluent Swedish and have a driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.

It is important that you are an empathetic person driven by a strong inner motivation to create results beyond the ordinary. You have the ability to create safety, stability, and contribute the qualities that help residents motivate themselves towards a more independent life.

The co-occurring disorder issues present particular challenges, often with fluctuations in mood. It is essential to handle the needs of the target group in a respectful and humble manner.

You are secure, stable, and controlled in pressured or challenging situations. The ability to distinguish between the personal and professional and to act in a way that is adapted to the situation is highly valued here. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. If you can also structure and drive your work independently, it is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and qualities.
