The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Description

The Medicine department encompasses specialties such as cardiology, diabetology, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics.

The Medicine outpatient clinic includes operations in the aforementioned areas, and within cardiology, there is a comprehensive cardiac lab operation. Here, we perform exercise ECG, echocardiograms, Holter ECGs, and pacemaker checks.

We need more staff, so we are now looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and enjoys a varied job where flexibility is one of the guiding principles. The Medicine department has clinical responsibility for the patients, and as a BMA, you will therefore be involved in the care process, which requires sensitivity to the patient's well-being and independence in the execution of work. Job Responsibilities

The job tasks are varied, but primarily it involves performing echocardiograms. All work is carried out in close collaboration with our cardiologists and other professionals, creating a clear sense of team belonging.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a biomedical analyst with a clinical physiological focus. The job tasks will mainly consist of echocardiographic diagnostics and long-term ECGs. We are looking for someone with good experience in these areas.
