We are looking for experienced social workers for an assignment in public authority operations concerning children and youth. The assignment involves qualified work with investigations, placements, and handling of LVU processes in accordance with the Social Services Act and LVU. The role requires very good legal handling, clear communication, and the ability to manage complex cases.

Job Responsibilities

• Investigation and assessment of children's needs for protection and support according to legislation
• Follow-up of placements and collaboration with relevant parties
• Participation in oral negotiations in administrative courts and administrative courts of appeal where you represent the social welfare board
• Documentation and systematic work in the operational system Pulsen Combine

Consultant Requirements

• Degree in social work
• At least four years of experience as a consultant through a consulting company in public authority operations concerning children and youth
• At least two years of experience with Pulsen Combine in public authority operations concerning children and youth
• At least eight years of documented experience in investigations concerning children and youth
• At least eight years of documented experience in placements
• Documented experience in LVU processes and representing the social welfare board in oral negotiations in both administrative courts and administrative courts of appeal
• Ability to work independently, legally secure, and with high professionalism

General Requirements

• Good knowledge of applicable legislation
• Good ability to handle high workloads
• Strong communicative and collaborative skills
• Confidence in decision-making and accountability
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

About the Assignment

• Full-time 40 hours per week
• Working hours weekdays 08.00–17.00
• Assignment period February 2, 2026, to August 31, 2026
• Possibility of extension of up to five months
• Work is mainly on-site, some remote work may occur by agreement
