Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you support the individual at home and base your work on the user's needs and wishes. The tasks include practical chores, personal care, medical interventions, leisure activities, and social contacts. You should be the support the user needs to participate in all activities as much as possible and help ensure that the user has a good living situation.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have completed education from the nursing program, child and youth program, or a 1-year personal assistant training. Applicants with other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent may be considered for employment. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. The work should be characterized by a pedagogical approach to support the user in maintaining their skills as much as possible. It is important that you feel secure in your professional role and can act professionally. We also expect you to be social, attentive, and proactive in activities with the user. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

The work as a personal assistant requires good physical condition in terms of strength, stamina, and mobility. Since the work requires documentation, it is desirable that you have good computer skills. We also prefer that you have a B driver's license and access to a car.

More about the positions

1 Permanent position, employment rate of 91.39%, start date 25/12, working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend. Recruitment will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Full-time employment may be offered. You will primarily work in this case but may need to work in other cases/activities where there is a need. This requires that you can travel with your own car to the workplace you will temporarily work at. Travel compensation will be provided according to the agreement for work-related travel.
