Our Employment Offer

As an employee at Danderyd Hospital, you will receive compensation for healthcare, a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK per year, and access to the well-equipped staff gym, Lyftet, for only 540 SEK per year.

IMA has recently moved into a brand new care building and consists of 12 modern single rooms. We have 12 care places available 24/7 throughout the year. Our patients mostly come from the emergency department and ICU, but can also come from other departments in the hospital. They always have a high monitoring need both via monitors and visually. Their condition is often acute and unstable, and can involve serious infections, severe respiratory problems, serious intoxications, etc. The average length of stay for our patients is about two days but can vary from a few hours to several days.

Job Description

You will work with advanced care alongside a nurse in your team. You will be responsible for two to three patients. Your tasks include regular checks of vital parameters, various sampling, taking EKGs, managing catheters, and various wound dressings.

Qualifications

Trained healthcare assistant through the upper secondary school’s Health and Care program (three years, 2500 points), the Health and Care program at Komvux (three semesters, minimum 1350 points), or equivalent healthcare assistant training. You need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or be covered by transitional provisions for healthcare assistants, to be employed with the title of healthcare assistant. Otherwise, you may be employed in the job category of healthcare aide.

To work at IMA, you must have at least two years of experience in emergency care. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.
