Specialist Physician in Psychiatry Wanted

We have moved into completely renovated premises at the top of the building at Atlasmuren 3, with a stunning view over Karlberg Canal and Kungsholmen.

The startup work has begun, but we need to grow with more employees who want to be involved and help shape a new specialist psychiatric clinic.

Description

We are now looking for several specialists who want to help drive patient-safe care with continuous follow-up of implemented treatments.

You will be an important part of the joint effort to develop and continuously improve a sustainable working method that benefits our patients and creates a good working environment.

The clinic will receive patients with general psychiatric diagnoses, but not patients with psychotic diagnoses, bipolar disorder type I, or those over 65 years old, as these are treated at other clinics.

We strive to apply measurement-based care with a focus on care processes.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Specialist physician in psychiatry
  • Experience in psychiatric outpatient care

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in starting a new operation from scratch.
  • Experience in supervising medical students and junior doctors
  • Interest in contributing to the development of new working methods

You are a stable person who maintains focus in stressful situations. You are flexible in that you can adapt to changing conditions when required.

  • background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
