Stockholm Sjukhem offers acute geriatric inpatient care in Bromma and Kungsholmen. Care is provided in multidisciplinary teams in close collaboration between staff, patients, and relatives, and together we develop qualitative and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus, creating a safe discharge together with the patient. Our work is characterized by a lack of prestige and care, where we share our knowledge. Our goal is to be the leading provider of acute geriatric care in Stockholm County.

Your role as an occupational therapist

As an occupational therapist with us, you will enjoy a varied job in a stimulating environment where you meet patients with different diagnoses. We work in teams and closely with other colleagues in the team such as physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, and speech therapists, as well as nursing staff and doctors. We use the TakeCare journal system. Your tasks include:

• assessment and mapping of activity and mobility ability
• individual training and follow-up
• follow-up of ADL ability and testing and prescribing of assistive devices

The position is a permanent full-time employment (37h/week) with weekend duty every 5th Saturday. Placement is in Kungsholmen. We apply individual salary setting and probationary employment.
