Hökarängsskolan includes grades 1–9 and preschool as well as after-school care, leisure club, and adapted primary school. The operation includes about 550 students and 110 staff.
Hökarängsskolan aims to be a school for everyone: The staff should be engaged and have high expectations of each other, themselves, and the students. The students should be engaged, involved, and responsible.

Your role
As a school speech therapist with us, you will have a broad and important role in the school's student health work. Part of the position involves direct interventions for students – both individually and in groups. Another part of the assignment is more overarching and involves working at several levels in the organization, including after-school care and adapted primary school to some extent.
In your assignment, you are expected to:
- Be involved in the school's language development work
- Strengthen the work with linguistically accessible learning environments and language-developing teaching, for example by co-planning and modeling language-developing teaching.
- Provide guidance to educators regarding students with language disorders/language vulnerability and reading and writing difficulties
- Provide training to educators on language disorders/language vulnerability and reading and writing difficulties
- Conduct assessments at group/individual levels based on students' reading, writing, and language abilities and use the results in teaching development
- Collaborate with treating speech therapists as needed.
Your competence and experience
- Are a licensed speech therapist
- Have experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in primary school
- Are confident in your profession and enjoy a role where you take your own initiatives and actively contribute to the school's development
- Value collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with a focus on cooperation and guidance.
- Are attentive, flexible, and able to prioritize easily
- Want to contribute with commitment and drive in the school's development work
- You have knowledge of NPF and particularly autism.
