Welcome to us

We are now looking for a nurse who wants to work with us in one of our dementia departments.

We hope you are our new colleague! Our goal is to provide good care and individualized support for the elderly, and by working in a team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, we collaborate around the elderly to achieve this. The operation is managed by two unit managers who have a close leadership style.

Magdalenagården is a care and nursing home with 24 somatic places and 42 dementia places spread over six floors. Magdalenagården is perfectly located by Mariatorget with proximity to train and bus connections.

We also offer the possibility of vacation exchange. With us, you will work as a nurse during the day and on weekends every fifth week, and you often have several colleagues on site.

Your role

We are now looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is responsible for and leads the nursing work in the unit together with other nurses. You should be stable and secure in your professional role as a nurse and be able to guide and support the staff. You also have a supervisory responsibility so that everyone feels secure.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who:

  • are a licensed nurse with at least 1 year of experience.
  • master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
  • have good knowledge of the national quality registers that exist in the operation.
  • have good knowledge of health and medical care regulations.

It is an advantage if:

  • you have worked with the Vodok journal system but it is not a requirement.
  • you have experience in elderly care or a specialist education.

Other

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes, with the City of Stockholm, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue. You can order an extract from the Police Authority's website: Extract to check your own information in the criminal record.
