VO Vård represented Södertälje Hospital in the Magnet4Europe study, and we are now continuing with the magnet model to enable a good working environment and nursing development.

We have nursing assistants and nurses working with us, and the operational area is also led by nurses. We provide care in several different areas such as internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, geriatrics, and palliative care. We are a total of 360 people distributed across nine wards and ASIH, currently having 173 care places.

Department 10 is an internal medicine ward with a focus on cardiology. We have the capacity to monitor 18 patients and also receive patients with increased care needs.

As a nurse with us, you will have present managers who, together with our employees, are passionate about their work. On the ward, we work in teams and strive for good collaboration and quality care. We always keep the patient in focus. As a nurse with us, you are expected to participate in the ward's improvement work, lead the daily nursing work, and collaborate with the ward's magnet team. We have a well-established onboarding plan based on where you are in your career. During the first months, you will be trained in the ward's monitoring system and other specific tasks.

We apply mentorship on the ward. As a new employee, you will also receive good support from the ward's nursing leaders and senior nurses. If you are further along in your career, there is an opportunity to help develop the ward in everything from nursing, quality, documentation, mentorship, and CPR. We offer opportunities for further education in cardiological nursing as well as rotation within the operational area and the heart clinic.

We are looking for someone who is positive and flexible in their approach and has the ability to see opportunities. You enjoy working independently but also have a strong sense of teamwork. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and solution-focused. You have a genuine interest in developing care, always with the patient in focus.

Your qualifications:

Requirements:
- Licensed nurse with the right to practice within Swedish healthcare.

Meritorious:
- Previous work in a cardiology ward and/or education in cardiology

Employment form:

Permanent employment. Full-time/part-time, day/evening/night.

As a nurse in a 24/7 operation, a working time agreement applies with the possibility of a retention bonus (on time) and reduced weekly working hours for night work. If you work condensed weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken out as time off, money, or pension contributions.

The selection process for this position starts in week 34.
