Welcome to Djurö Health Center!
We are a small, well-functioning health center with approximately 4,600 listed patients, located on Djurö in the Stockholm archipelago.
Our operations are characterized by a strong presence in the local community and good accessibility. We have consultations both at the health center and at our medical stations on Möja, Sandhamn, and Runmarö, as well as a so-called dock reception on the medical boat on several islands within Värmdö municipality and also adjacent municipalities. We provide home healthcare on the mainland and out on the islands. At the health center, three specialist doctors, one resident doctor, nine district nurses/nurses, and five nursing assistants work. The work is carried out in modern, bright, and pleasant premises. The health center belongs to Värmdö primary care, which also includes Gustavsberg health center, with which we collaborate closely. Our work is characterized by evidence-based treatment methods, constant development, and continuous improvements. We are a small workgroup and have a close and good collaboration with each other. In the national patient survey 2025, Djurö health center received the highest rating of all health centers operated by the region.
We are now looking for a substitute for one of our specialists who will be on parental leave. The work consists of regular consultation work at the health center but also includes home healthcare and home visit activities. Possibly, some island operations may also become relevant.
We value a healthy lifestyle and care about a good balance between work and private life. You have the opportunity to influence your own working hours to some extent through flexible hours and thus your own work situation when the operations allow. We apply flexible hours, have a generous wellness allowance of 5000 SEK, and offer free healthcare.
