Welcome to IFO in Ludvika! We are an organization in development that is now looking for YOU who want to help shape the social services of tomorrow. IFO has about 120 employees and is organized with an overarching management and five units: Investigation Unit, Support and Welfare Unit, Foster Care and Family Law Unit, Open Care Unit, and AMI. Open Care Unit – Our Team
The Open Care consists of 28 dedicated employees, divided into six teams: field social workers, family therapists, addiction counselors/violence/Skkp, intermediate team, support housing/living support, and parent advisors. Together, we work to prevent social problems and help families in their change processes.
Job Responsibilities
As a Field Social Worker, your main task is to meet and establish relationships with children and young people in the field. You conduct fieldwork in line with the new Social Services Act, where trust and low thresholds promote collaboration with the municipality's residents. You actively collaborate with other actors to influence the living conditions of children and young people at the community level. You build and maintain good relationships with schools and youth centers, and the target group is children and young people from middle school age up to and including high school.
- Relationship-building and outreach fieldwork with low thresholds.
- Collaboration with schools, youth centers, and other relevant actors.
- Participation in the municipality's collaboration group FAS and SSPF.
- Leading group activities for children, youth, and parents together with other professionals.
- Providing individual support to children, youth, and their relatives.
- You may work with IFO's summer project.
- Evening work may be included.
Qualifications
- A degree in social work is required.
- Experience in social work in open care with children, youth, and adults.
- Experience in outreach and preventive work with the target group.
- Ability to lead group activities for children, youth, and parents.
- You are flexible, solution-oriented, secure, and positive with your own drive.
- Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
- A valid driver's license (B) is required.

In accordance with the Act (2013:852) on background checks of persons who will work with children, you who are offered the position must be able to present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record. We wish that you, along with your credentials, bring this to any interview.
