Nordic Brass Gusum is one of Europe’s leading production units for brass and the only brass mill in the Nordic region. With over 360 years of craftsmanship, development, and innovation, they produce approximately 25,000 tons of brass annually – a raw material that is 100 percent recyclable and used in plumbing, construction, automotive, electronics, and much more.
The company is also leading the development towards a more sustainable industry through its own developed lead-free alloy AquaNordic®, which is already used in faucets and plumbing equipment, among other things. The journey has only just begun.
About the role
As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be a key player in the company’s continued business and operational development. You will be responsible for several of their largest and most strategic customers in Sweden, Norway, and Poland – long-term partnerships where quality, business understanding, and trust are crucial.
In the role, you will manage the entirety of complex deals: from understanding raw material flows and market signals to negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery precision. You will work both strategically and operationally and become the natural link between the customer, production, logistics, and a technical organization.
The role requires a senior commercial understanding, confidence, curiosity, and a desire to drive the business and relationships forward – where travel is a natural part of the job.
Examples of tasks
- Build and develop long-term, strategic customer relationships with existing customers
- Drive business development and identify new opportunities
- Negotiate contracts, ensure profitability, and follow up on budgets, volumes, and margins.
- Analyze market data, trends, and customer needs
- Collaborate closely with quality, product development, production, and logistics to ensure delivery precision and quality.
- As a Senior Key Account Manager, you are an ambassador for Nordic Brass Gusum and represent the company in leading industry forums and networks, both in Sweden and internationally. The role requires strong personal commitment, high flexibility, and a willingness to actively contribute in forums related to sustainability and future building standards.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Documented success from a senior commercial role, such as Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or equivalent
- Experience from the metal industry or related sectors such as aluminum, steel, or alloy industries
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive complex deals, make decisions, and ensure profitability
- Understanding of how technical processes affect the business – analytical curiosity and problem-solving ability are valued higher than complete technical expertise
- Ability to communicate effectively in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
- Driver's license and willingness to travel

You take responsibility for developing the customer base, improving market position, and contributing to lifting the entire sales organization. You are stable, unpretentious, and can independently drive both strategic dialogues and operational processes forward.
