We belong to the care and social administration, which is one of our six administrations in Lidingö municipality. We have about 800 employees working to support our residents in all stages of life. We work with elderly care, social psychiatry, disability support, and individual and family care. We always put the individual's needs at the center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for substitute staff for group housing for people with intellectual disabilities. You will work during the day, evening, weekend, and night/on-call.

The job involves providing support and service to the customer in their daily life. This includes everything from regular household chores that occur in a home to assistance with personal care, hygiene, structure during leisure activities, and social contacts. The support is tailored to the individual's needs. In short, you will assist with everything from personal hygiene to accompanying on disco nights, day trips to Skansen, and more. You will be part of a work team and work both independently and in a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed high school. You have experience in the relevant field or other work that we assess as equivalent. Due to the documentation requirements of the operation, it is also important that you master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

We believe you are calm, stable, and can handle different types of situations. You have the ability to maintain a realistic perspective and focus on the right things. You communicate clearly and ensure that the message gets through and that expectations are clear for all parties involved. It is also important that you remind and follow up. Furthermore, we think you are a person who brings ideas and new approaches to work-related issues. You have innovative thinking that can be put into practice and leads to results.

We also place great importance on personal maturity, that you as a person are secure and have a high level of self-awareness. You have the ability to see relationships in their proper perspective and can distinguish between the personal and the professional.
