JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking positive care assistants for the collaborative team in Söder home care, Väster home care, and Centrum home care, who want to contribute knowledge, joy, and experience to our pleasant operations.

As a care assistant in our collaborative team, you will work to ensure that our care recipients have a good everyday life, where you assist with personal care and support, activation, social interaction, exercise, outdoor activities, service in the form of cleaning, laundry, and meal handling, as well as shopping.

Through a good and professional approach, as well as a responsible working method, you provide our care recipients with the best opportunities for a good and secure life. We work with fixed care contacts, where one of our most important tools is the individual care plan. You read and document in our operational system. In addition to services from the Social Services Act, we also carry out delegated tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Documentation is an important part of your work so that everyone in the team can be aware of the developments regarding the care recipient.

Working in home care is varied and enjoyable. Most tasks are planned interventions, but the work also requires flexibility as we assist people with changing needs. We help individuals with the services they need and are entitled to, always focusing on the needs as determined by the case manager's decision on home care. You should be flexible and independent, as well as able to collaborate with your colleagues in the workgroup and with other actors in the team around the care recipient. With a positive mindset and a secure working method, you will go far. It is important that you want to work with the entire assignment from documentation to performing all delegated tasks.

In Centrum, Söder, and Väster home care, cycling is the mode of transport between care recipients, so being able to cycle is a requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, a completed education from the Health and Care Program or equivalent is required. Experience in care professions is an advantage, as is work with dementia care. Experience in additional areas of responsibility is also an advantage for the position, such as interest in various delegations within the HSL area and interest in assisting with planning of decided interventions when needed.

As a person, you are solution-focused and calm. You are confident in yourself, take responsibility, and find it easy to collaborate with others. A professional approach is important, where you as an employee are attentive and flexible towards care recipients and colleagues, while following the needs of the operation and existing decisions.

You need to have a positive attitude and a desire to contribute to a pleasant work environment.
