JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist for our municipal primary care.

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with individuals of all ages and varying needs. The assignment spans the entire health and medical care area and includes both habilitation and rehabilitation in both ordinary and special housing. This means that you will meet patients with everything from long-term disabilities to temporary activity limitations, and you will work both preventively, supportively, and training-based according to individual goals.

Job responsibilities include, among others:

• Activity and function assessments as well as activity training
• Guidance of nursing staff
• Assessment and certification regarding housing adaptations
• Prescription of medical technical aids

We work based on an individual-supporting approach where you actively guide and support the nursing staff in methods that stimulate and strengthen the user's own resources. Daily work occurs in close collaboration with physiotherapists, nurses, care managers, unit managers, and care staff. A cross-professional team where you are an important part.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist and enjoys working independently. You need to be able to make your own professional assessments, make well-founded decisions based on these, and take responsibility for your assignment.

Requirements:

• License as an occupational therapist
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Driver's license (B)
