Do you want to work in a dedicated team where your skills truly make a difference? We are looking for an experienced and committed nursing assistant for our surgical outpatient clinic for a temporary position until 31/12-26.

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job where you assist in various outpatient visits and independently receive patients. Your tasks include providing medical assistance during examinations such as rectoscopy, excisions, cystoscopies, and biopsies with ultrasound.

You will be part of a dedicated team of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and medical secretaries. Together, we form a professional team with high competence, collaborating on various diagnoses to provide our patients with the best possible care.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with experience in the field and the ability to work independently. You are structured, engaged, and goal-oriented in your work approach and thrive in an environment where collaboration, development, and quality are in focus. You have a strong interest in the surgical field and want to help further develop the operations. Since we are a smaller unit, we place great importance on personal suitability. Experience with the Cosmic journal system is an advantage but not a requirement.

Our operations include a surgical outpatient clinic, urology clinic, and an endoscopy unit. The surgical outpatient clinic is a specialist clinic focusing on endocrinology, breast, vascular, upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery.

At the urology clinic, procedures such as cystoscopies and ultrasounds with tissue sampling from the prostate are performed. There are also nurse-led clinics and a prostate cancer dispensary. The endoscopy unit serves primarily as a service unit for the surgical and medical clinic, but also for other clinics as needed. Västerviks Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with maternity care and a maternity ward. At Västerviks Hospital, there are jobs for those who want to develop in their role alongside friendly colleagues.
