The Care Administration is responsible for care and support in ordinary, special housing, and for people in need of municipal health and medical care. The goal is for the elderly to be able to live as active and independent lives as possible. The guiding principle in our work is a health-promoting approach, where we highly value teamwork. The administration has about 700 employees.

Nybro Municipality continuously works to develop home care, and we are proud to be at the forefront in many areas. We have about 8 teams distributed geographically across Nybro Municipality, and you will collaborate closely with your nursing colleagues in the team and throughout home care. In the evenings and weekends, you will work with colleagues from different areas, where you will start from the same workplace and distribute the work together. Most nurses with us work about 5 evenings and 2 weekends over an eight-week period. Our staff is our most important resource, and we focus heavily on further education and development to meet the transition to close care. We offer a positive community and a wonderful workplace.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include standard nursing tasks within both ordinary and special housing. The patient's needs dictate the assignments. For some, we perform more basic interventions, and for others, more advanced home care.

Some examples of tasks we perform today:

• Advanced Wound Care
• Palliative Care
• Management of Central Venous Catheters
• Medication Management
• Coordination within the municipality and between municipality/Region

You will have close collaboration with care staff in both home care and special housing. You will be part of a cross-professional team with rehabilitation, care staff, case managers, and unit managers. As the patient-responsible nurse, an important part of your work is to safeguard the integrity and rights of the patient group.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with a few years of experience in the profession. We prefer that you have specialized training in the field, such as dementia, geriatric, or district nursing. You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and efficiently with your colleagues. You are good at collaborating, can easily adapt to changing circumstances, and see opportunities instead of obstacles. You are self-sufficient and enjoy working both in a team and independently. We prefer that you work according to the competency description of licensed nurses in your daily work with person-centered care, teamwork, evidence-based care, improvement knowledge for quality development, safe care, and informatics. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment period. A valid driver's license (B) is required, as well as professional and work experience.
