We offer you a responsible, varied, and interesting job in occupational therapy and physiotherapy at the County Hospital in Kalmar. You will primarily work in our outpatient care with patients who have traumatic knee injuries (mainly ligament injuries) before and after surgery. You will follow the patients throughout their postoperative rehabilitation. You will work alongside two other physiotherapists and will also provide services in other departments as needed.

Your working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may occur, approximately four weekends per year.

About you

You are a licensed physiotherapist. We prefer that you have experience in orthopedic outpatient care. As a person, you are self-driven, take initiative, and are flexible. You enjoy collaborating with others, are solution-oriented, and structured in your work. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Your future workplace

The occupational therapy and physiotherapy department is part of Rehab Söder. Approximately 28 physiotherapists, 14 occupational therapists, 2 rehab assistants, and 1 administrator work in the unit. We work in both inpatient and outpatient care. The role of a physiotherapist is independent but also involves close collaboration with other professionals within the unit and staff in clinics/wards.

Rehab Söder is tasked with providing rehabilitative services to citizens in southern Kalmar County at both specialist and primary care levels. The unit is also responsible for the region's dietitian services in the southern part of the county and for the social work services at the County Hospital in Kalmar. Services should be provided in collaboration with other healthcare providers and the patient's social network as needed. The goal is for our services to lead to maintained or improved health.

The County Hospital in Kalmar is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2,300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
