Expanding with More Care Places!
We are expanding with more care places and therefore need to grow our team! We offer an exciting job with day/evening/weekend shifts where no day is the same.
With us, you will meet and care for patients in need of both acute and postoperative care, focusing on upper and lower gastro, breast and vascular, urology, and oncological surgical patients, but other specialties may also be relevant. For new nurses, we have SPIK (specialist nurse in clinical service) responsible for helping and supporting new nurses. We provide good opportunities for a solid introduction both specifically for the clinic and hospital-wide. For those with more experience, there are development opportunities for paid specialist training or opportunities for research in surgical nursing.

About You
We are looking for someone interested in surgery, who wants an independent job and wishes to develop in their role as a nurse. Teamwork is important to us, and we expect you to be good at collaborating and flexible. In your interactions with patients and relatives, you are empathetic and focus on the patient and their loved ones. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Your Future Workplace
The Surgical Clinic conducts a broad operation divided into upper and lower abdominal surgery, vascular, breast, endocrine, urological surgery, and surgical emergency care. A total of over 200 people work at the clinic. The surgical clinics in Kalmar and Oskarshamn form a joint clinic, with advanced surgery taking place in Kalmar, and Oskarshamn handling operations that typically do not require intensive care. We are now looking for nurses for our departments in Kalmar. The County Hospital in Kalmar is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our staff's continuous development work leads to good results in various national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
