About You

Are you driven and can see opportunities in change? Then this could be the job for you! We are looking for a licensed nurse who has a person-centered perspective and values working closely with colleagues and patients. Of course, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy building relationships. We prefer that you have experience from healthcare, with IT systems such as Cosmic and Link. Experience in orthopedics is a plus. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Your Future Workplace

The Orthopedic Clinic at Kalmar County Hospital is the largest orthopedic clinic in the county. We have a county-wide responsibility for spinal surgery and foot surgical orthopedics. Our operations focus on acute surgery, which takes place around the clock. Two-thirds of our care places are dedicated to acute operations. About 100 employees work together at the clinic. The staff group consists of doctors, nurses, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, and plaster technicians. We also have a well-functioning collaboration with physiotherapists and occupational therapists on a daily basis. Since 2024, we are also part of the Future Care Ward project, where we work with new methods to improve care.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialized care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development efforts lead to good results in several national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
