Your tasks will involve great variation within acute stroke care and neurology at all stages of life. One of our strengths in the medical clinic is the close collaboration between departments and outpatient clinics, which provides great opportunities for professional development and flexible tasks. The work includes participation in treatment, diagnostics, prevention, and rehabilitation. We work in teams where several professions collaborate around the patients. About You

For this position, we are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, confident in yourself, and eager to learn new things. You contribute to a good working environment through your team spirit and humble, constructive approach. Experience in stroke care is an advantage, but we also warmly welcome newly graduated nurses as there are great opportunities to develop a broad and specialized competence within the medical field at our clinic. The clinic has inpatient wards, a dialysis outpatient clinic, and two medical outpatient clinics where all specialist outpatient clinics are represented. Outpatient care is also provided in the wards. Västervik Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with maternity care and a maternity ward.
