JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want a meaningful summer job in elderly care (ÄO) or support for people with disabilities (OF) as well as Individual and Family Care (IFO) with good opportunities to continue working after the summer?

Are you genuinely interested in supporting and helping other people? Then you could be one of the individuals we are looking for!

We are seeking summer substitutes who can work weeks 25-32 in our operational areas:

Home Care

Work areas: Mönsterås, Fliseryd, Blomstermåla, and Ålem. The work involves supporting individuals with various needs in their homes with tasks such as personal care, delegated health and medical tasks, and service activities like laundry, cooking, and social interaction. The work is performed independently while collaborating with a team where you support each other.

Special Housing/Short-term Housing for the Elderly

Special housing is available in Mönsterås, Fliseryd, and Ålem. The short-term housing is located in Mönsterås. Here, elderly individuals live in their own apartments. You will work in a team, and your tasks will include personal care, assisting with meals, delegated health and medical tasks, and activating the residents.

Group Housing, OF

Location: Mönsterås.

Here, several individuals live in their own apartments. You will provide pedagogical support, care, and services that contribute to a meaningful, safe, and developing life. You will be responsible for care and support with personal hygiene, laundry, meals, cleaning, community contacts, and support during leisure activities. Alternative communication methods such as pictures, signs, and symbols can be used.

Short-term Housing for Children/Youth/Adults, OF

Location: Mönsterås.

This facility serves children and youth aged 6-18 and adults over 18. The focus is on social interaction, but care and health services are also provided.

Personal Assistance, OF

Location: Throughout Mönsterås Municipality. The work is independent and includes care, personal hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, or leisure activities.

Employment, IFO

Location: Mönsterås

The activities within social psychiatry have various focuses, from work rehabilitation to social interaction and meaningful activities.

Service Housing/Support Housing, IFO

Location: Mönsterås.

Here, you provide support to individuals based on their circumstances. The aim is to offer basic security in everyday life where you function as social support and help individuals gain structure in their daily lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work with us, you need to have a genuine interest in people.

You as an applicant need to be engaged, responsible, and treat people with respect. You do not need to know everything, as we provide an introduction to work with individuals who need support to manage their daily lives.

It is advantageous if you have completed or are currently pursuing education in:

• Care and Nursing
• Social Work
• Pedagogy
• Nursing Program

It is also advantageous if you have work experience in our operational areas.

It is required to be able to cycle within home care and support housing, and having a B driver's license is advantageous.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. We also see that you should be able to work irregular hours, which means working both during the day, evenings, and weekends.

It is important that you can communicate in Swedish. You should have the ability to convey and comprehend instructions and delegations in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

In the first instance, we will prioritize applicants who can work the entire summer.

For all our summer jobs, you must be at least 18 years old.
